Hydrogen Energy

The field of hydrogen energy is mainly been driven by the advancements in the hydrogen and fuel cell technology area. EMCON Services has been at the forefront of hydrogen market developments taking place in Germany for the past decade. The main objective is to decarbonise the environment and make the world a cleaner and more healthy space of living.

In the transportation sector, hydrogen-powered fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs) complement battery electric vehicles (BEVs) to achieve a deep decarbonization of all transportation segments. FCEVs are best suited for applications with long-range requirements, heavier payloads, and a high need for flexibility.

Hydrogen also plays a decisive role for industrial processes, e.g. utilisation as feedstock for refining and the production of methanol. Besides this hydrogen offers more application potentials, hydrogen could be used together with captured carbon or carbon from biomass to replace fossil fuels as feedstock for the chemical industry. And even more applications are on the verge of implementation, for hydrogen shall play a key role in the storage of renewable electricity and the production of clean electricity as the energy system relies more heavily on renewables.

In this context the services portfolio of EMCON Services’ may be summarised as follows
